Karbonn has launched a new entry-level smartphone — Alfa A120 — priced at Rs 4,590. The smartphone will compete against the likes of Micromax Canvas Fire 2 A104, Lenovo A526, Lava Iris X1 Mini and Intex Aqua M5.
The Alfa A120 smartphone sports a 4.5-Inch FWVGA IPS screen and runs on a 1.3 GHz dual processor. It includes 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB with a microSD card. The Karbonn Alfa A120 comes with a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery and is priced at just Rs 4,590. The battery, which offers a standby time of up to 240 hours and talktime of 18 hours, will have heavy smartphone users taking note.
Karbonn Alfa A120 sports a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a VGA secondary camera. For connectivity, the smartphone offers 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a micro-USB slot. It further includes support for multi-gesture and 22 Indian languages. The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2.
The smartphone is available on leading e-commerce portals and in all major retail outlets across the country.
