While the low-end smartphone market has been getting a lot of incoming devices off late, one more smartphone that has hit the segment recently is the AXD11 GenXDroid7 which is priced at Rs.3890/-
The AXD11 GenxDroid7 is a dual-SIM (WCDMA+GSM) smartphone running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The company however promises to upgrade the smartphone to Android 4.4 KitKat.
In terms of specifications, the AXD11 GenXDroid7 smartphone comes with a 4-Inch WVGA display and runs on a 1GHz MediaTek dual-core chipset with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. The internal memory can further be expanded by up to 32GB by using a microSD card, and the company is offering a free 16GB microSD card in the box.
Also the company has offered a 3.2-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash, while it also sports a 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper.
The smartphone is currently available in Black and White colour variants, measures 122.3×62.3×10.4mm, and weighs 71.1 grams. The AXD11 GenxDroid7 packs a 1400mAh Li-ion. The smartphone comes with GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
The phone will feel the heat from the newly launched Mozilla Firefox operating system powered Smartphones from Intex and Spice. Both these phones are the first from India to run on Mozilla’s new OS, which can be a threat to Android-based budget Smartphones in the long run!
