The Indian electronics manufacturer, Intex Technologies has unvieled the HD ver. of its Aqua Star II smartphone, named as Intex Aqua Star II HD. The company has announced that the device will be available for sale on local retail shops and e-commerce website as well, with a price tag of Rs. 6,590, in Champagne, Silver, White, and Grey color variants.
“Through this new launch we aim to define our purpose of unleashing an economically attractive and technologically luring smartphone in the market. Our latest offering – the Aqua Star II HD – is available at an amazing price point. We are delighted to offer such an outstanding product and hope to continue this in the coming future,” Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies says.
The rivalry handset to Xiaomi Redmi 2, Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G and Micromax Canvas Fire 4, is fronted with a improved 5-inch 5-inch HD IPS display with 720 X 1280 of resolution, as it was of only 480 X 854 of resolution in its earlier ver. Also, it sports a 5 megapixel of auto-focus selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the back of the device boasts an 8 megapixel of primary image snapper with LED flash, which is featured with scene detection, face recognition, panorama, geo-tagging, best shot, smile shot, and HDR options that enables it to captures sharp and decent images in daylight and low light as well.
The Intex Aqua Star II HD runs on Android’s 4.4.2 KitKat flavor supported by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor that is coupled with 1 GB of RAM. In addition to it, the manufacturer has provided an 8 GB of internal storage to the device that can be expanded up to 32 GB, using a microSD card.
The device is fueled with a 2000 mAH of battery, which is claimed to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of standby time, by the company. As far connectivity is concerned, the smartphone has 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.
