Domestic handset brand Intex has silently launched two budget Android smartphones, Aqua HD 5.0 and Aqua Y2 at Rs 7,790 and Rs 5,190, respectively. The two phones have been listed on the company’s official website, however, details related to availability are not known yet. Unfortunately, there is no word on availability and pricing details of the Intex Aqua Desire HD.
The Intex Aqua HD sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. Some other features include a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage, expandable upto 32GB via microSD card, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 2300mAh battery. It’s powered by a 2300mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the dual-sim phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, and GPS.
Meanwhile, Intex Aqua Y2 sports a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) IPS display.
Powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor and 1GB RAM, the phone has 8GB internal storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
The Aqua Y2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera.
It’s powered by a 1400mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the dual-sim phone supports 3G, Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth, and GPS.
The Intex Aqua Desire HD is an upgraded version of the Aqua Desire, which was launched in February. The dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) based Intex Aqua Desire HD runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box and features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD IPS display. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.
