Micromax Launches 2 budget smartphones starting at Rs.3300

The leading home grown manufacturer, Micromax has announced the launch of its two most affordable 3G smartphones under its Bolt series – the Bolt S300 and Bolt D320 which are priced at Rs 3,300 onwards. The Bolt S300 smartphone will be available at a price of Rs 3,300 while the company is yet to announce the price of Bolt D320.

The Micromax Bolt S300 is powered by a 1GHz processor; 512 MB RAM and has dual-SIM support. It features a 4-inch WVGA display and runs Android 4.4.3 KitKat OS. Packed with a 1200mAh battery, the phone is claimed to deliver 150 hours of battery back-up on the standby mode. It also lets users expand memory up to 32GB using a microSD card.

On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 2.1 options.

On the other hand, Bolt D320 sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The phone also comes with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 3.2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front shooter and 1600 mAh battery. Running on Android Kitkat 4.4.2, it also lets users expand memory up to 32GB using a microSD card.
