Panasonic Launches Eluga I priced at Rs.9490/-

Expanding its new Eluga series, Panasonic has launched a new budget smartphone, Eluga I, at Rs 9,490. It will be available in silver, black and white colour variants.
The ELUGA I sports a 5-inch Raised Curve Display Panel for better viewing angles and for making longer viewing “Strain-Free” for eyes, the company said in a statement.
The phone is powered by Quad Core (1.3GHz) processor and runs the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system along with Panasonic’s Fit Home User Interface designed for single hand operation. It’s note sure when will it get Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phone comes with a Smart Swipe functionality where using a combination of fingers and direction of swipe a user can perform various predefined functions.The phone has 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB.The smartphone comes with an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash with 1080p video recording capabilities and a 2 MP front camera.
The phone is powered by a 2000mAh Lithium Polymer battery.In terms of connectivity, the dual-sim phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The company has also introduced an Smart Swipe functionality with ELUGA I, where in, a combination of number of fingers and direction of swipe can help user perform various predefined functions, providing ease of access.
The smartphone box packs an Interactive Flip cover with which the users can access the smartphone faster by easily locking/unlocking, attending calls and checking reminders and notifications with the cover on.
