Rio Mobile has launched out three budget Android smartphones with an exclusive partnership with Snapdeal. It marks the entry of a new Indian smartphone maker into the Indian market, to sell its Android devices through the e-commerce site. The Dual-SIM handsets will be cheap in price, despite having been armed with multi-core processors.

These smartphones are Rio London, Rio Paris and Rio New York and are priced Rs. 3399, 4399 and 4999, respectively. These smartphones have been named after three globally renowned cities – New York, Paris and London. These smartphones are available exclusively on snapdeal.com.

All three smartphones run Android KitKat 4.4 OS and sport 1.3 GHz quad core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB ROM and high impact display screen.

The Rio New York R501 which has been priced at Rs 4999 kicks in a 5-inch 850 x 480 pixel display. Fitted with a leather-like back panel, it works on the combination of a 1.3GHz quad core processor and 512MB worth of RAM. There’s an 8MP rear camera onboard this device, apart from a 2MP front snapper and a 2000mAh battery.

The Rio Paris R301 gets a slim body that features 4.5-inch display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The device is fitted with 1.3GHz dual core processor clubbed with 512MB of RAM. The rear surface of the handset gets a 5-megapixel camera, whereas the front surface gets 2-megapixel camera unit. Fueling its operations is a 1700mAh battery for long lasting usage. One can purchase this device in exchange of Rs 4,399.

The Rio London R201 is priced at Rs 3,399. It sports a 4-inch display with 840 x 480 pixels resolution. The smartphone is clocked at 1.3GHz dual core processor that’s coupled with 512MB worth of RAM. It features a 5-megapixel camera on the rear surface and a 2-megapixel camera on the front.
