The Xolo Q600 Club is the latest entrant in the affordable smartphone market in India and counts itself among the few devices to get an official launch by the company. The phone is priced at Rs 6499 and is being touted as an entertainment-oriented offering designed for music lovers.
The Android 4.4 Kitkat-based dual sim smartphone features special box speakers with DTS support. It features a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 218ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core (MediaTek MTK6582M) processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and Mali-400 MP2 GPU.
The phone features a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a front VGA camera, and is powered by 1,800mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Xolo Q600 Club include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0. It also features sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
The phone operates as a remote control with the Peel Smart Remote app, which means one can use the mobile phone to control TV, DVR, DVD player, air conditioner and other entertainment devices. The smartphone also features gesture support through the Smart Wake and Smart Light tools and Hot-Knot technology for sharing media files wirelessly.
The Xolo Q600 Club is available through Flipkart and Snapdeal for a lower retail tag of Rs 5100 and up.
